Getting started

  • Open web.whatsapp.com and sign in, then open Tooly from Chrome's side panel.
  • Click Scan to read the contacts already visible in your session.
  • Everything runs locally — Tooly is read-only and never sends messages.

Exporting & formats

  • Export to CSV, Excel (.xlsx), vCard (.vcf) or JSON, plus Google Contacts & CRM presets.
  • Files download straight to your computer — nothing is uploaded.
  • Country, carrier and local time are computed on your device from offline data.

Premium & licence

  • Free covers the core export; Premium adds filters, CRM presets and JSON — Lifetime $20, 1-Year $12, Monthly $3.
  • Paid in crypto to our wallet; once confirmed on-chain, Premium unlocks automatically.
  • Manage your plan on your account page — nothing auto-renews.

Privacy & data

  • Your contacts, numbers and exports stay on your device and are never sent to our servers.

Troubleshooting

Nothing appears after Scan?

Make sure web.whatsapp.com is fully loaded and you're signed in, then reopen the side panel and scan again. If Tooly says you're not signed in, scan the QR code in that tab with your phone (WhatsApp → Linked devices) and press Check again. If the scan finds nothing, WhatsApp was probably still loading: scroll your chat list to the bottom and press Scan again.

Names are missing from the results?

Names appear once a chat has been opened in WhatsApp Web. Open any chat there, then scan again.

Some group members have no number?

WhatsApp hides the number of anyone who hasn't shared it with you and shows an anonymous ID instead. Tooly lists them under Hidden, with a count, rather than inventing a number. The number appears once you save the person as a contact or they share it. Exporting the Hidden list (names and details, no numbers) is a Premium feature.

Sign-in didn't reach the extension?

Complete sign-in in the browser tab, then reopen Tooly's panel so it picks up your session.

An export looks incomplete?

WhatsApp Web only shows contacts currently loaded in your session — scroll your chat list to load more, then re-scan.

Excel shows numbers like 5.51E+12?

Double-clicking a CSV makes Excel read the Phone column as a number. Pick the Excel (.xlsx) export instead, where every cell is stored as text, or bring the CSV in through Excel's Data → From Text/CSV and set the Phone column's type to Text.

Paid but Premium hasn't unlocked?

Give the crypto payment a minute to confirm, then reload your account page. Still stuck? Email us with your order number.

Using Premium on another computer?

Premium belongs to your account, not to one browser. Install Tooly on the other computer, choose Already purchased? Sign in to restore and sign in with the same Google account you bought with. Export history stays on the computer where it was made.
