Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Tooly does — and does not — collect. In short: your WhatsApp contacts never leave your device, and we collect only the minimum needed to run your account and licence.

Tooly is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp or Meta Platforms, Inc. "WhatsApp" is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc., used here only to describe compatibility.

1. Data we do NOT collect

• Your WhatsApp contacts, phone numbers, group members, or message content.
• The contents of any file you export.

The extension is read-only and processes this data on your device only.

2. Data we DO collect

• Account data: your email address and a user ID, used to sign you in and remember your licence. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase.
• Licence status: your plan (Free or Lifetime) and purchase record, stored so we can grant Premium features.
• Payment data: payments are made in cryptocurrency sent directly to Tooly's own wallet addresses. We never receive card, bank, or other financial-account details — only an on-chain confirmation tied to your order.

3. Service providers

• Google Firebase — sign-in and licence storage.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.

4. Cookies

We use only essential storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing us. Deleting your account removes your stored licence data.

6. Data retention & security

We keep account and licence data only while your account is active, plus any period required for legal or accounting reasons. Data is protected in transit (HTTPS) and access is restricted.

7. Children

Tooly is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
